Your quest has been ordained.

Humboldt's Community and Leisure Services has enrolled a new interactive summer activity to get people out and about in the community.

Roam Humboldt is a game played on an app that allows residents and visitors of the city to venture out to locations in Humboldt, collect tokens, and in turn win prizes.

"It's a quest that we've decided to put together with an app called SideQuest. You get to go visit some places that maybe you've never been to before or check out your favourite old spots," said Jocelyn Doetzel with Community and Leisure Services.

The first step to completing your quests is downloading the app called SideQuest on your phone or tablet. Once downloaded, your adventure begins throughout the city.

"Anyone can play. All the quests are uploaded now, so you can go as fast or as slow as you wish. It goes throughout the summer until August 30th, and as long as you get all your tokens before then, you can win."

Some of the areas on the quest map include the Humboldt Aquatic Center, St. Elizebeth's Disc Golf Course, Civic Park and many more.

"Our big prize is a raffle where you can win a 6-month leisure pass and wireless headphones, and we have two of those packages that people can win. There are also single admission passes to the Uniplex and gift cards."

Don't forget to download the app and head on out to different attractions in Humboldt this summer. Your quest and multiple prizes await you.
