The City of Humboldt, along with the Rural Municipality of Humboldt, is proceeding with work along Peck Road on the city's west side. Peck Road south of 4th Avenue will be undergoing clay capping construction. This will require portions of the road to be dug up over a next two to three week period. Portions of the road, often used as a west route to the landfill, the Vintage Club, and Highway 20 south, will be impassable. Drivers who use this route regularly may need to find an alternate route.

As well, the City's Public Works Department advises that repair work is scheduled for the east/west portion of Landmark Place off of 3rd Street. Work is scheduled to commence on July 8, 2019, for a duration of 3 to 4 days (pending weather or other unforeseen circumstances).
