As the camping season draws near, those dreaming of the great outdoors this summer will soon have the chance to start booking their sites.

Starting Monday, reservations are open for campsites at provincial parks.

"With a variety of activities available and an abundance of beautiful landscapes and lakes to explore, it's no surprise our provincial parks continue to be popular travel destinations," stated Parks Minister Gene Makowsky.

Launch dates are staggered to ensure that the province's reservation system remains stable throughout the process.

Reservations at Greenwater begin on Thursday, while Rowan's Ravine near Strasbourg opens for reservations on Wednesday morning.

A queue system opens daily at 6:40am, with reservations starting online at 7:00am.
