The East Central Fillies took to the ice on Sunday, December 23. It was the third meeting of the season between the leagues top two teams in the Fillies and the Western Prarie Thunder.

The season series was at one game apiece with both teams handing the other their only loss on the year.

West Central would strike first just over two minutes into the game to grab the 1-0 lead. They would double their lead halfway through the second period, then make it 3-0 in the third. Throughout the game, the Fillies put 20 shots on net, with Thunder goalie Jayden Lawson stopping them all. Fillies goalie Sydney Martin stopped 19 of 22 in the loss.

The Fillies have now lost only two games on the year, both at the hands of the Thunder.  They sit with West Central with 20 points apiece atop the league standings

East Central Fillies have a few weeks off before getting back on the ice on January 12th in a rematch with the Western Prarie Thunder.
