The Humboldt Broncos had a 'spooktacular' appearance on the ice Thursday night, downing the Yorkton Terriers 6-0.

Being the last game pre-Halloween, the Broncos welcomed kids to dress up for the game to receive a goody bag at the door.

It was also the club's first family night of the season, with a special admission rate of $35.

In front of over 500 fans at the Elgar Petersen Arena, Reagan Poncelet got the scoring started early, finding the back of the net at 4:06 of the opening period.

For Poncelet, it was his first career goal in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League.

Much like Tuesday's game, the Broncos scored quickly, as Logan Schatz scored his 7th of the season just 1:18 later to put Humboldt up 2-0 in the first six minutes.

Schatz buried his second straight goal at 6:09 of the second period, scoring on a feed from Kaleb Dahlgren on the power play.

A pair of Logan's teamed up to eventually score four straight for Humboldt, as Logan Hunter deposited his fifth goal of the season two minutes after Schatz made it 3-0.

Hunter scored his second goal of the game in the late stages of the middle frame to give Humboldt a 5-0 lead.

Conner Lukan put home Humboldt's second power play goal of the night with 32 seconds left to make the final 6-0 for the Broncos.

Sam-Jaxon Visscher got his first start since October 7, stopping all 22 shots faced for his first shutout in the SJHL.

Thursday's game was the last of October for Humboldt, who will return to action on November 1 when the Battlefords North Stars visit the EPA to conclude a four game homestand for the Broncos.
