The Government of Saskatchewan's Highway Hotline is a great site to bookmark to keep tabs on road conditions throughout the winter, especially after the years first snowfall.

Humboldt and surrounding areas were hit with snow on September 29th, which continued overnight and looks to be dissipating sometime during September 30th.

The Highway Hotline currently has Highway 5 from east of Wadena all the way to Saskatoon and beyond, as a yellow highlighted advisory, The advisory states that winter conditions exist, and that the road is wet and subject to freezing. Highway 16 and 20 are currently under the same advisory.

Highway 11 heading south out of Saskatoon, along with Highway 14 to the west and Highway 2 near Watrous are described with these advisories: Winter Conditions Exist, SlushIy or Slippery Sections, Wet subject to Freezing, Drifting Snow, and Reduced visibility.
