The City of Humboldt is a little blurry on Tuesday morning with fog rolling in.

Fog has caused poor visibility for drivers within and around the Humboldt area.

Visibility ranges from half a kilometre to 6 kilometres in Humboldt and surrounding areas. The fog is expected to be cleared out by later Tuesday morning or early in the afternoon.

The fog is being caused by a combination of warm temperatures hanging above Humboldt and surrounding area, and cooler temperatures at ground level.

Drivers should take their time on the roads, especially with poor visibility and temperatures are hanging around the freezing mark which may produce slippery surfaces on roads and sidewalks.

The fog has mostly disbanded around Humboldt and the surrounding area. Please stay aware and safe on the roads if you come across fog in your travels.
