Doreen Borisko (nee Kramer)
March 20, 1932 – January 30, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Doreen Borisko, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, on January 30, 2024, at the age of 91. Doreen was born on March 20,1932, to John and Clara Kramer, and grew up in a large and loving family of eight siblings: Roman, August, Mildred, Mary, Carmel, Harry, Lorne, and Yvonne. She married Steve Borisko on October 5, 1954, and together they raised three children: Barb, Brian, and Don.

Doreen was a devoted homemaker who took pride in her role. She was family-oriented and cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. Doreen appreciated a clean house and loved having friends and family over to visit. Those who knew her throughout the years would have enjoyed her singing, dancing, gardening, and baking. She had a joy of living and brought happiness to everyone around her.

Doreen was predeceased by her husband Steve, her parents John and Clara, and her eight siblings. She leaves behind her three children: Barb (Greg) Thoms, Brian Borisko, and Don (Shirley) Borisko; her three grandchildren: Kimberly (Jason) Greer, Kristen (Jody) Scott, and Curtis Thoms; and her six great-grandchildren: Madden Scott, Mackenzie Greer, Colin Thoms, Liam Greer, Nixon Scott, and Kaytis Thoms.

A Private Service has been held for family and close friends. Urn bearer was Curtis Thoms. Eulogy was written and delivered by Kristen Thoms. Interment will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Bruno Cemetery Fund (Box 337, Bruno, SK S0K 0S0) or Lung Association of Saskatchewan.
