It took almost a full period of overtime to decide game four in favour of the Weyburn Red Wings last night as the Humboldt Broncos fell 4-3 in Weyburn.

Once again it was a back-and-forth affair for the full two periods with Matthew Van Blaricom posting a pair of goals in the evening. Ben Costantino scored the other goal as Humboldt took a 3-2 lead in the second. The tying goal in the second belonged to the Wings' Jaxson Ruthven on the power play.

Both teams went on deadlock lockdown as goalies Ben Motew and Dazza Mitchell turned away all comers in the third.

After a hard fought third and overtime, Nick Kovacs slipped one by Motew at 19:24 for the win.

The Broncos will be looking to get it done back home on Friday and in the ensuing game on Sunday back in Weyburn.
