The Humboldt Broncos never say done attitude paid off with a pair of wins this weekend to force game seven in their semi-final series with the Melfort Mustangs.

On Saturday in Melfort, Spencer Bell led the way for the Broncos with a hat trick, and Maddox Amaral produced the game winner as the Broncos put away the
Mustangs 4-2 to force a game six back home last night.

Another closely waged battle spilled over into double overtime with Spencer Bell once again playing the hero with a goal off a Landen Stromme pass to break the deadlock and give the Broncos a 4-3 win on Sunday.

Melfort jumped ahead two nothing in the early going, but Jeter Korte brought it back within one. Melfort's Aidyn Hutchinson put the Mustangs up by two once again going into the third, but Brayden Skogstad netted a goal to cut the deficit.

With only a minute left on the clock in regulation, Captain Cage Newans turned over a puck and took advantage of a last-minute goal to set up the dramatic finish.

Now it's down to game seven on Tuesday Night back in Melfort. Get those away tickets early and call the Broncos office about fan bus transportation as it all goes on the line at the Northern Lights palace.

Puck drop at 7.30 with the play call on 107,5 Bolt FM.
