It's that time of year where we look back at 2018 for local Humboldt businesses and organizations to highlight what was accomplished as well as what's to come in 2019.

Arts Humboldt's busy 2018 consisted of 12 events, some big, some small.

"We had a great year. The Missoula Children's Theatre was wonderful this year. We had a record number of kids showing up for auditions. Our Soundcheck Showcase this year had a record number of entries as well, so it's great that folks are catching on to what we're doing and they're participating," said Tanya Schuler, President of Arts Humboldt.

Some highlights for Arts Humboldt in 2018 included two outdoor concerts, said Schuler.

"We do like to be able to give back to our community and supporters and thank them, so to be able to give free outdoor concerts, when the weather allows, is one way we enjoy doing that.

Schuler may already have a few things in the works for 2019.

"There's a possible show in January and we're working on a bigger show in May. I don't want to give details to that just yet until we have things finalized, but definitely keep watching our facebook page and website. It will be a good one, one you won't wanna miss."
