Cold temperatures seem to be forever lingering in Saskatchewan and spring seems like a distant thought.

Environment And Climate Change Canada, Meteorologist, Robin Dyck noted how long we might be seeing these colder than average temperatures.

"So as you noticed you woke up this morning and it was quite cold it will probably continue for the next week to two weeks out."

The temperatures we have been seeing are definitely below average, Dyck gave a range of where Humboldt typically sits this time of year.

"Normals around this time of year for the Humboldt area are about low minus 6 and highs of plus 5."

Two weeks might seem like a long time to wait for spring-like temperatures but according to some climate models it could be even longer.

"Right now our climate forecast by Environment Climate Change Canada as well as the Americans their forecast as well they have been saying for the one month out will be below normal temperatures."

Dyck suggests dressing for winter still even though the sun is warm during the afternoon and being prepared that Winter is still not over for the next few weeks.
