Environment Canada has issued another air quality advisory for the area, expecting widespread smoke to trickle into the region throughout Tuesday.

They say that winds from the west are pushing significant amounts of wildfire smoke across the prairies and will continue to do so until a cold front arrives.

The cold front is expected to roll through on Tuesday afternoon and evening, at which time, the smoke will dissipate.

Some areas will be air quality values range from four to seven, while others may exceed seven, which is deemed to be the 'high' pollution mark.

While the cold front will clear the smoke out, it will also bring cooler temperatures and moisture to the Humboldt area.
