On April 4th, the 28th Saskatchewan election will take place forming our next government for the following four years.

This year the Legislature will consist of 61 seats across the province.

There are six ridings that fall into the coverage area of 107.5 Bolt FM.

Below is an outline of the constituency boundaries as well as the public servants hoping for your vote and their party they represent.

Humboldt-Watrous includes communities to the west such as Vonda, Allan, Colonsay, to the south Watrous and Drake fall into this riding.Muenster is included in this constituency but Englefeld and St. Gregor lies in the Melfort riding. Bruno and Prud'homme are the two main centres in the northern portion of the constituency.

Melfort is a constituency that runs south of LeRoy and Quill Lake but north of Jansen and Dafoe. To the east the border is past Highway 6 leaving residents in Pleasantdale, Naicam and Quill Lake voting in that riding. The northern most boundary is north of Highway 335.

Kelvington-Wadena is a larger riding that stretches from Theodore in the furthest south-east corner up to Porcupine Plain and Mistatim in the north to Tisdale and Wynyard on the west edge. The far west corner lies just to the northeast of Punnichy and Lestock, those communities fall into the Last Mountain-Touchwood constituency.

Batoche covers the area mostly to the north of Humboldt which includes the towns of Pilger, Middle Lake, Cudworth St. Benedict, Wakaw, Kinistino, St. Louis, Birch Hills, Duck Lake, Alvena and Aberdeen.

Arm-River is another extremely large constituency that spreads as far west as Broderick and Riverhurst on the west side of Saskatoon all the way to the east to Raymore. Within it's boundaries are Jansen and Dafoe, Govan and Duval, Simpson and Imperial. Even communities on Highway 11 like Bethune and Davidson are inside the Arm River riding.

Saskatoon-Stonebridge-Dakota is a new riding that is much smaller in area but it does house communities such as Clavet and Bradwell on it's east side border.
