The Wadena Fire Department had a busy weekend responding to two different animal vehicle collisions.

At 6:00pm and 8:15pm last Sunday, two different vehicles collided with moose on Highway 5.

The first accident took place 3 miles East of Kuroki no injuries were reported. The second was 5 miles West of Wadena and was more serious. The driver had to be transported by the Shamrock Ambulance to the Wadena Union Hospital for undisclosed injuries.

Both collisions caused major damages to both vehicles.
