The Grade 11/12 physical education class had an opportunity to have a different type of workout during class.

Mr. Buhs' class had four RCMP members join them for regularly scheduled gym class on Tuesday to take part in the Night Shift Workout Challenge.

The challenge was a 13-minute workout.

The workout featured many different exercises.

"We had to see how many rounds we could get through for all these exercises. There were eight exercises in each round first being burpees, squats, plank rows, box jumps, core complex, bar push-up press, shuttle run, and medicine ball side toss. Each station we had to do 10 reps."

The students were excited.

"When they looked at it for the first time they thought it would be a walk in the park, but we soon found out it was pretty difficult. But even after all the sweat they still had fun."
