Water Rising Along Hwy 16; Hwy 2 Down To 1 Lane Near Wakaw

The spring melt is taking its toll on Saskatchewan highways.

Wadena RCMP are warning drivers of water rising onto the shoulder of Highway 16 between Elfros and Leslie.

Meanwhile, flooding has restricted Highway 2 to one lane of traffic four kilometres north of Highway 41, near Wakaw.

Flagpersons are present, and drivers are advised to slow down and drive carefully, according to a Highway Hotline post.
