It was the decision made by Horizon School Division that compelled many to begin a protest Tuesday, July 3rd.

The school division is transferring Mrs. Bonita Reeve, a well-loved teacher at Wynyard Elementary to another school. She has been an integral part of the school for thirteen years, said Chris Blyth at the protest.

"She is a pillar in our school. She is a role model; the epitome of a professional educator."

Over twenty people attended the protest.

"It's beyond us how Horizon School Division could remove her," questions Blyth.

Horizon School Division has yet to release an official statement on the matter.
