Weather warnings have been issued as a new system of colder weather moves in.

Central Saskatchewan is under a snowfall warning with everything south of Prince Albert under a wind warning.

For Humboldt, we're expecting sustained winds in the 70km per hour range with gusts hitting 90 at times. There will also be some rain and then snow as temperatures drop below freezing. Five centimetres of snow is expected to fall throughout the day on Wednesday.

With the dangerously high winds, damage to shingles and siding, trees and other greenery is possible.

Before setting out on the highways, it is recommended that you take a look at highway conditions as some highways in the region are already having their 'travel not recommened.'

Travel is not being recommended on highway five east and west of Humboldt, 'winter conditions exist' on all other area highways.
