There is some work taking place in the city of Humboldt this week.

The water main replacement project has started on 9th Avenue from 13th street up to Canada Place.

Temporary water will be set up for those affected residents.

Once the water line has been replaced road work will begin as well.

This project is expected to take two to three weeks to complete.

During this time there is no parking allowed on 9th Avenue and no vehicle access to 9th Avenue garages.

REACT will continue to pick up, however, the cans must be placed on the side street, not on 9th Avenue.

The paving of the roadway and curbing of the sidewalk will take place in 2019.
