Spring, health, home and leisure will be on display at the Humboldt Curling Rink, as the Humboldt District Hospital Foundation holds their annual trade show.

The two-day event begins Saturday, going from 10am to 6pm, with Sunday's hours set for 11am to 4pm.

Executive Director of the foundation, Lorrie Bunko, says that once again, the rink will be packed with exhibitors.

"We have a full arena floor at the curling rink. A wide variety, a lot of different stuff that you're going to see. It's going to be a good show, we're pretty impressed with how it all rolled together."

This year marks the third time the foundation will be holding the show. It was an opportunity for them to continue to raise funds for health care in the Humboldt area, and also bring something to the season.

"We wanted to offer something just a little bit lighter and brighter to the program for the foundation," Bunko explained. "We wanted to promote health and fitness. Just to bring that one little thing that was missing from the market in the spring time in Humboldt."

"It's been very beneficial for us. It's been a good fundraiser for us, it's been a good public relations tool for us. It's been good all around."

Right when you enter the floor, the fun begins with a new addition to the show, according to Bunko.

"This year we have a balloon artist coming in for children and adults for those who like to do that. He can create pretty much anything you'd like out of a balloon. Kids can come on down and get maybe a sword made, or their favourite animal sculpted out of balloons, and there is no cost for that."

Bunko added that the first 250 people through the doors will receive a coupon for the Lake Lenore Greenhouse.
