Children between the ages of 3 and 12 will have the chance to spend some of their summer vacation learning some life lessons.

The St. John's Lutheran Church Vacation Bible School runs every day this week from 9 am to 12 pm.

Coordinator Elaine Hoeflicher explains more about the school.

"Vacation Bible School is a time for children to learn about Jesus, and also to spend some time during the summer vacation at a church and with other children."

She also talks about the activities the children will be doing.

"They share in singing, there will be lots of music, there will be story telling and a Bible challenge. They also join in snacks games and crafts and they will learn about Jesus and how he is one victory over sin, death, and Satan."
