Two people are dead and another is in hospital after a major two vehicle collision in the Rural Municipality of Cupar on Monday.
Southey RCMP, Fire and Cupar EMS responded to the scene six kilometres east of Highway 6 in the RM.
An initial investigation has led police to believe that a southbound vehicle struck an eastbound vehicle at an intersection of secondary grid roads.
The 59-year-old male driver of the eastbound vehicle and a 58-year-old female passenger died at the scene. They are from Fort Qu'Appelle.
A 24-year-old woman, who was the lone person in the southbound vehicle, was taken to Regina General Hospital via STARS Air Ambulance.
Alcohol is not believed to be a cause in the collision.
