Environment Canada has confirmed that one tornado touched down twice near Naicam, during the storm that rapidly moved across central Saskatchewan on Sunday.

Shortly before 11:30am, severe thunderstorm watches were issued across the Humboldt region, and minutes later, it was upgraded to a warning.

The system began northwest of Humboldt in the Cudworth area, moving east across and past Naicam, leaving a trail of funnel clouds behind.

At 12:09pm, a tornado warning had been issued for the Naicam, Lake Lenore and St. Brieux areas, with atleast one reported touch down 20 kilometres northwest of Naicam.

Lucas Moore was one of those who got to see the tornado first hand, and shared this video to the Bolt FM Facebook Page.

As of 2:56pm, Environment Canada had rescinded any last watches and warnings for the area.
