Five students and two teachers from Three Lakes School learned a thing or two about leadership last week.

Last Wednesday the Saskatchewan Student Leadership Conference took place in Langenburg, SK. The two teachers from Three Lakes were Mrs. Otsig and Mrs. Schwark while the five students were Tristina Hanotte, Kelsey Parsons, Katelyne Richardson, Emily Nyuli, and Jade Otsig.

The students were invited to the conference because of all the time, hard work, and dedication they have put into their school and their community. The conference is put on every year for students to learn what it takes to be a great leader through a parade, an amazing race and listening to inspirational speakers. Tristina Hanotte stated the conference was inspiring and motivational.

This is the first time the conference was hosted in Langenburg with students from all over the province taking part.
