The Humboldt Vintage Club's tractor and truck pull was always a highlight of Sunday at the Summer Sizzler but after some bad weather they have postponed the event twice.

They have it set to go Saturday, just south of the city.

Treasurer Craig Poncelet says after two rain outs this summer they may look towards a later date if all goes well.

"Could end up being an October event every year now. We also did it on a Saturday this time, whereas all our summer dates were usually on the Sunday."

Poncelet added that popularity has been increasing for the pulls each year.

"It has always been a good event for the club. Sometimes it dies off for a little bit, but it is coming back strong right now," he explained. "So, we will have our pulls with vintage tractors and trucks and see who has the bigger tractor and who can go farther."

For those looking to enter the competition, registration begins at 9:00am. Pulls will begin at 11:00am.

Being a fundraiser for the Vintage Club, there is admission for the event. Entrance cost for spectators is $10 for adults and $5 for students. There will be a concession on the grounds as well.
