The students of Wadena composite donated money to the Terry Fox Foundation last week.

On Friday, October 5th, 150 students at Wadena Composite school managed to raise $738 for cancer research. 

Toonie for Terry, T-Shirt Sales, caps for causes were the different fundraisers through out the month of September. Also a lunch after the run took place where funds went towards the Terry fox foundation for those suffering from cancer. 

"We feel it's extremely important to learn about Terry's story, he is the greatest Canadian and over the years his foundation has raised 800 millions dollars or somewhere in that range," said Darin Faubert, the Principal at Wadena Composite.

The students had the choice to run or walk 7 Km on friday morning from 10 till 12 for the Terry Fox Run.
