Another 20 hours of ringing those phones for Telemiracle is on the way starting Saturday.

Telemiracle 42 takes place in Regina starting at 9:00pm, running until 5:00pm on Sunday.

Kinsmen Telemiracle Foundation Chairman Scott Lamb says that he is always pleased with how the public supports the event.

"It truly is amazing, the people we help. I always use the example that I can have a hard day of work, and sometimes it feels like you had a bad day, but I can still get in my bed, and move around."

"To be able to continue to help the people of Saskatchewan is truly a miracle."

Five of the last six years, the 20 hour fundraising total has surpassed the $5-million mark, with the all-time running total set to move past $125-million in 2018.

Lamb says that with health care, there is never not going to be a time when someone looks to them for help.

"There's always a need. We help people go for medical travel within the province and out of the province, and it seems like there is always a need for our service."

Prior to this year's broadcast, a 2.5 hour online stream kickoff show will take place, which will feature local talent performing, including the Winston High Garage Band from Watrous, and Lacey Holowaty of Kelvington.
