Residents of the Humboldt area continue to enjoy the sunshine, as seen in Eyes on the Area.

Cudworth's Great Western Days took place on Friday and Saturday. A kickoff barbecue was held with the Cudworth/Hoodoo fire department.

Train rides were also offered for kids to enjoy, in addition to other events, including fireworks.

Manitou Beach continues to be a hotspot for those looking to enjoy a cool dip on a sunny afternoon.

The Bantam Muenster Red Sox and Humboldt Dodgers welcomed teams from Tisdale and Prince Albert for a mini tournament.

Tisdale edged Humboldt 19-18 during the game pictured above. 

The Muenster A's girls softball team are also hosting provincials, which conclude Sunday.

The tenth annual Manitou Studio Trail continues Sunday. Artisans from the area are having their work displayed at local gallery's, including the Little Manitou Art Gallery.

Sunday's hours are 12 to 6:00pm.

Humboldt's Tayden Wallin placed third at the FutureLinks Prairie Championship in Estevan this week. Wallin continues to show his place as one of the top golfers in the province, and will look to capture the junior championship in Swift Current this coming week.

The Humboldt Water Tower is now open for the season. The best view of the city and surrounding area can be seen on Wednesday's, Friday's and Saturday's throughout the summer.

Construction season is in full swing in the area. Passing lanes are being developed on Highway 5 west of Humboldt, as seen in the first photo.

Some work is being done on 14th street, south of the train tracks in Humboldt as well.
