It has been 100 years since the first world war was declared over.

On Sunday, December 2nd, the St. Peters Chorus put on a special concert, in remembrance of WWI. Maxine Moore, Director of the St. Peters Chorus talked about the extra meaning behind the performance.

"The first half of our program revolves around the music of the first world war, with commentaries on some of the events that happened. The second half is focused on more recent events, from the second world war and Korean war all the way to modern day, with the conflicts in the middle east, and many other tragic events."

There was a 50 member chorus performing on the day, as well as numerous other musicians playing songs. The proceeds of the event go back into the St. Peters Chorus.

This is St. Peter's 51st year in existence.
