The Soft Hands Full Bellies Campaign donated $800 to help people stay full this holiday season.

The Humboldt Soup Kitchen received the $800 from Elite Salon & Spa who ran the campaign throughout November.

Money for the campaign was raised through paraffin hand treatment at the local Spa in Humboldt. This donation is one of many the soup kitchen has received in its eight-year history.

"Any funds we have donated to us are important especially around this time of year. We feed a supper every Tuesday night at 5 o'clock for anyone that wants to come. There are a lot of people that need this, not just to fill their bellies, but it's also for anyone that needs fellowship," said Jamie Erb, Coordinator of the Soup Kitchen.

Humboldt's Soup Kitchen will be open on Christmas day as well, so people in need can come together and enjoy the Christmas season.
