The Government of Saskatchewan is reminding drivers to be cautious when traveling throughout the Thanksgiving long weekend.

Road construction is continuing in many spots around the province, with some in the Humboldt area as well, including Highway 5 west of the city where passing lanes continue to be developed.

"Remember to slow to 60 km/hr when approaching the work zone and watch for flaggers, signs, equipment and other hazards," stated Highways Minister David Marit.

Other areas with work continuing include:

  • Highway 6 north of Dafoe
  • Highway 15 west of Raymore
  • Highway 16 east of Saskatoon
  • Highway 27 near Aberdeen
  • Highway 35 near LeRoss
  • Highway 312 near Wakaw

Most projects are expected to be wrapped up towards the end of October and early November.
