Three days of slo-pitch and community spirit help the Guttormson's remember their daughter, Tiffany.

Tiffany passed away over a year ago and a memorial tournament was started in her name.

Bruce Guttormson, Tiffany's father, explains where the funds go.

"Proceeds go back to like we have the senior hockey club looking after the beer gardens and the concession booth they get all the proceeds from that. All the other money we make from the ball tournament and the cabaret goes to the fire department, Naicam primary care clinic, the Naicam School, the seniors home, communities in bloom, last year we released $12,000.00 combined with all the different organizations we have."

The day is not just to keep Tiffany's memory alive but to ensure the community spirit alive as well.

"It's community spirit what we're after here too, slo-pitch used to be a big deal in Naicam," noted Bruce Guttormson.

Over the three day event, 12 different teams competed and had a chance to win top place in the three pools.
