If you are travelling through the stretch of Highway 5 between St. Gregor and Watson, you can expect delays, as construction has begun on a stretch of road for about 15 kilometres.

Crews are doing seal coating and putting on fresh oil.

As such, traffic is down to one lane with a pilot vehicle guiding drivers during the daylight hours.

The Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure reminds all drivers to use caution, watch for flag persons and of course, slow to 60 kilometres an hour.

Construction is expected to last until Friday.
