St. Peter's Chorus is ready to shine with show-tunes tonight in Naicam and Sunday in Humboldt.

Maxine Moore the director with the choir is excited for their 50th year next year,

"We're going to be changing that up, were still going to be using the basic black, but were going to be adding colour to acknowledge our 50th year. And even for this concert were going to pop up some colour, everybody is going to be dressed in colour with their scarf and ties. So a little bit of a relaxed look for us."

Moore is always excited for new members,

"We run anywhere from 40 to 50 [members], we represent all ages, we have every decade covered."

Moore said the only requirement to join is that you can carry a tune.

The concert in Naicam starts at 7:30 and the one in Humboldt starts at 2:30.

Tickets are available ahead of time at Pharmasave & Thompson Insurance in Naicam, and for Humboldt at the Shoppers Drug Mart.

Otherwise tickets are at the door for $15.00.

Moore notes, "It's a chance to come out and relax, were featuring songs from many, many musicals, we even got Michelle Acherman on flute, and Dail Averson on clarinet."
