Seven people are facing charges following an armed robbery in Kandahar on Wednesday.

The Wynyard RCMP say five adults and a pair of young offenders were arrested after a report of three individuals being held up at gun point plus one being assaulted and held against their will.

Police located four suspects shortly thereafter and took them into custody.

The following night another suspect was arrested by the Wynyard RCMP, the Punnichy RCMP were assisted by Southey RCMP and Regina Police Dog Services in arresting the final two suspects on Highway 6 after a high risk take down.

Three men have been remanded into custody to appear in Yorkton court, the remaining four have been released on conditions and will appear in Wynyard court on January 26th.
