Sentencing has been handed down on a man renting a Bruno property that housed a marijuana grow operation.

27 year-old Arash Alidousti, of Saskatoon pleaded guilty Monday in Humboldt court to one count of production of a controlled substance as well as one count of possession of a controlled substance.

Alidousti was sentenced to a five and a half month conditional sentence order as well as 18 months probation with conditions.

His co-accused, 26 year-old Michaela Beck was facing a production charge, she had her charged stayed by the crown.

Back in May of 2015, the RCMP received a tip about a possible grow op at a residence in Bruno.

Upon investigation police found 18 plants as well as grow operation equipment at the home.
