The second of two men involved in robbing the Quill Lake Bar is in jail, for quite some time.

30 year-old Donovan Nanaquetung was sentenced to 11 years in prison, minus just over two years for time served since the crime occurred on April 22nd of last year.

In Wynyard court on September 2nd, the Wadena resident pleaded guilty to a lengthy list of charges including robbery with a firearm, wearing a disguise to commit an offence, carrying a weapon dangerous to the public among others.

Once released he will also be faced with a year's driving prohibition as well as not be allowed to own any weapons.

On that night in April, he and Delbert Nanaquetung entered the establishment armed with a rifle and crowbar. Two men were shot and injured, the two were then arrested at Watson after the stolen vehicle they were driving crashed into a business on Highway 6.

Delbert was sentenced to seven and a half years back in March.
