With warming temperatures and frost coming out of Saskatchewan's roads, seasonal road restrictions are in effect. Restrictions are placed on heavier transport vehicles to avoid damage to road surfaces and bed. 

Official statements of restriction are regularly issued throughout the spring season and may be in effect for six to eight weeks.
