Musician Scott Woods and his band performed at the Humboldt Legion on Wednesday.
The concert, aptly called 'Fiddling Up a Storm' showcased the talents of the 6 piece band, with musical selections ranging from slow, emotional, lyrical pieces to fast, fun tunes.
A native of a small town called Fergus, Ontario, Woods says the impact of the Broncos bus crash was felt in his community. He explains that hockey sticks were seen placed on doorsteps and attached to tractor-trailer grills, and the Humboldt Broncos logo was featured on the local arena's digital display screen.
"It touched us just as strongly as anywhere in the country. It was felt right across the country. You are not alone," Woods says about the tragedy and the Humboldt community.
