Not only are there limits in school zones but also when driving around school buses.

Motorists must stop at least five metres behind a school bus when the bus is stopped and has its red lights flashing.

Drivers may only proceed once the flashing lights have stopped, and the stop arm has been disengaged.

These rules have been put into place for the safety of the children getting on and off the bus.
