Goblins, Ghouls, Ghosts and Good hearted people in Allan, Saskatchewan

The Baptist Church Youth Group in Allan, SK held their annual Sacre Away Hunger Food Drive on Halloween.

Every year, for the last 5 years, a group of volunteers from the church, as well as Teen Challenge Saskatchewan, a faith-based group dedicated to helping others overcome addictions, and students from Allan Composite School go door to door on Halloween to collect food. The food is then donated to the Allan Food Bank.

"They have been very generous every year, we had enough to fill a half ton, it's enough to actually let the food back run for a year," said Kim Uhren, Pastor of the Baptist Church in Allan.

The food bank uses the nonperishable items to help feed citizens of Allan who may need a helping hand. $110 in cash donations were also collected by the group.

The Scare Away Hunger Food Drive, on a night of trick or treating, showed it's more than a treat to see the generosity of citizens come together for people in need,
