17 communities across the east-central region are benefiting from the Province of Saskatchewan's charitable gaming grants.

The grant is equal to 25 per cent of proceeds raised through licensed charitable games such bingo, raffles, break open ticket sales, Texas Hold'em poker and Monte Carlo events.

The proceeds are paid quarterly to groups and organizations that conduct these events.
