A troubled patch of road in the City of Humboldt is getting a much needed facelift later this Summer.

The City of Humboldt is going to spend 105-thousand dollars to repair Bruce Street.

The money is going to come from the city's Street Redevelopment Reserve and Contingency Reserve.

Due to the seasonal traffic because of Misty Gardens being on the road it's not expected to start until late July or August.

The work on the non-paved road will last about one to two weeks.

Residents and businesses that are effected will be in contact with city officials to work out detour plans.
