As construction continues at Centennial Park, many in the City of Humboldt are curious about the status of parking on the grounds.

In late September, the city closed the north parking lot to allow for the surface to be redone.

That's when snowfall hit, thus halting progress on the work.

Currently, the city needs to wait for the ground to either dry, or freeze, so that gravel can be brought in to finish the work.

It was added that crews were four days from completion of the parking lot when the snow took over.

The north lot has been inaccessible since September 21, though the Uniplex can still be accessed from the south side by using the Curling Rink doors.
