An early Sunday morning break-in and subsequent theft at the Bella Vista Inn has the Humboldt RCMP investigating.

They say that at approximately 5:20am, security video shows four suspects arriving at the BV driving a newer black Dodge ram truck with either a black tri-fold tonneau cover or black tool box.

Suspects smashed the bar's glass door on the east side of the building with an axe and pulled the ATM out using the truck.

They then loaded the ATM, which had an undisclosed amount of cash, into the truck and fled the scene.

Furthermore, they are also looking into a break and enter of a home.

Between Sunday, December 20 and Monday, December 21, unknown suspects broke into a residence on the 300 block of 6th street in Humboldt.

They gained access to the home by breaking a window located at the back of the residence.

Once inside, the interior of the home was damaged.

Any information regarding either crime can be passed on to the Humboldt RCMP or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
