A Quill Lake area man charged with arranging to commit a sexual offence is out on bail.

Brendan Olynick, 35, was released from jail on $2,000 bail Thursday.

Olynick, who now resides in Saskatoon, was tagged with a number of conditions he must follow, which includes moving back home to live with his parents.

Other conditions include attending court anytime he is instructed to, obeying a nightly curfew of 11:00pm to 7:00am, visits by a peace officer to ensure he is home during those hours, and random searches.

He is also not allowed to access the internet or use any electronic device and is to have no direct or indirect contact with anyone 16 years of age or younger.

On December 21, Olynick was arrested following an investigation by the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation unity.

The investigation began on December 4 after what ICE members called concerning online posts, related to an adult man allegedly trying to arrange, with a woman, an opportunity to commit a sexual offence against a child.

Olynick will return to court on January 11.
