Residents of Quill Lake will be able to take in a car show as well for Homecoming weekend.

The car show registration beginsat 11, with the show running from 1 until 4.

Guy Martin organizes the car show.

He talks about how it started.

"Definitely part of the festivities this weekend for the Homecoming. We decided to put it on, we did it 10 years ago and we had a successful turn out and it was a great time. We thought we would do it again and we look forward to a lot of fun."

Martin also gives us a few more details on the car show itself.

"Registration starts at 11 AM, the car show starts at 1, and it will be done around 4. We're going to have 4 different venues as far as winning prizes, we got $1,000 in cash prizes. We have a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for the participants choice. We also have a people's choice, again, that grand total is going to be $1,000."

The car show is free to attend, and cash prizes will be handed out to winners in people's choice and participants choice.

The car show is also part of the Homecoming weekend for Quill Lake, which also includes the conclusion of the Slo-Pitch tournament and a fire works show at dusk.
