If one of your hobbies include pysanky eggs, and you would like to add some fine specimens to your collection- look no further than the Humboldt and District Museum.

Over the course of this past week, there have been a couple of donations by local artists of Pysanky eggs, which are traditionally handpainted and are Ukranian in heritage. As well, there is one rather large egg that is actually an ostrich egg and was donated by Carol Oleksyn. The smaller eggs were donated by an anonymous artist. In addition, Haus of Stitches also donated a handmade quilt.

What's more, the Museum has put the eggs up for sale and will be using the funds to sustain their Friends of the Museum program. This helps many areas in and around Humboldt, with the Water Tower and Original Humboldt site being two prime examples.

The smaller eggs are $10 per egg, and there is a draw for the ostrich egg. The draw will end on December 12th, 2019.
