It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas...two days before Halloween!

Between the snowy conditions outside and the abundance of lovely holiday gift inspiration in the Bella Vista Inn, one might think the Christmas season is much closer than it actually is.

The second annual Glitz and Glamour Trade show descended upon Humboldt on Sunday and attracted 40 vendors to showcase their wares. Megan Moore, the trade show's organizer explains that she wanted to bring in unique vendors that "you can't find at other shows" in order to set the Glitz and Glamour show apart from the rest.

"We've pretty much got something for everybody's needs," explains Moore. "We have jewelry, Scentsy, 31, a ton of paintings and wall decor, definitely some barn wood items, and baking," she adds.

Local trade shows like the Glitz and Glamour, are beneficial to the community in many ways. "It's a good event to hold because it gets everybody in the community to do a little shopping and support local businesses", says Moore. As far as the proximity to the holiday season, Moore points out, "We're coming up to the Christmas season, so lots of people are buying".

Moore hopes to organize an additional trade show next year, by hosting one in the spring as well.

If interested in promoting your small business at the next trade show, Moore says vendors are encouraged to contact her through her Glitz and Glamour Trade Show Facebook event page.
